Hello friend! Hope you are fine.

Once upon a time a girl decorated her room. White walls, wooden bed and table and grey floor. And lots and lots of plants. But after few months, all plants died even if she cared a lot for her plants. She is your girl my friend! She is ME!!

Now I don’t have a single plant in my room but I am planning to plant seeds in June. I hope it will grow well and I will have beautiful plants in my balcony. Anyway, I decided to draw plants.

If you can’t grow plants, let’s draw plants

Are you enjoying time lapse videos or you want me to make me videos where I will talk you through the video? Let me know in the comment below.

I like using color pencil with watercolor and gouache. I like to add details with color pencils. These days I am also practicing to draw people. I have added a post about it on my Instagram. You can click here to check out.

I hope you don’t mind talking me about little things about my personal life. I like opening up here and sharing my thoughts. From last month I am doing yoga. I try to do it 7 days a week. It is helpful to the body and mind. You can feel the change in your body. To increase immunity I am drinking golden milk every night before bed and drinking ginger – tulsi tea every morning with a spoon of amla(Indian Gooseberry) juice.

I hope this pandemic to end soon even that I know this is going to stay with us for at least 1-2 years. I like staying at home but now I want to go out. Thankfully I have backyard where I can sit and walk. I want to meet my parents so bad but I can’t. For now I do video calls and talk to them. I hope your family is doing fine.

Thank you for reading!

  1. I too have been unsuccessful in growing plants! I can’t even keep succulents alive for very long, and they’re supposed to be easy to take care of…

Your time lapse videos are so pleasing to watch. I always find it interesting to see another artist’s process!

  2. It’s good to share your feelings and bits of your personal life! I enjoy hearing about you and your family. I love knowing you have a backyard where you can sit and enjoy nature. I’ve been doing a lot of that, too. Especially early in the mornings, I like to sit outside, close my eyes, and just listen to all the incredible songs of the birds. It’s very cold this morning, though, so I won’t be sitting outside! We’re expecting frost, so my husband has covered up our tomato plants. I’m hoping soon I can also plant green beans, peppers, and carrots. I have some herbs in my “kitchen garden” but need more. I’m not good at growing plants indoors, so I do my growing outside in a garden. I hope I’ll be able to draw and paint a lot of our flowers this spring and summer. Oh, with the videos, I like “talking” videos mainly because I’m at a point where I need a lot of instruction on what to do and how to do it with watercolors LOL. The time lapse videos are a pleasure to watch, but for me, the more specific and instructional, the better. 🙂 Stay safe!
